What kids actually do

Children work through arithmetic exercises in a browser-based practice environment styled like a game.

They answer questions at a pace set by the activity, with feedback tied to their responses.

Progress appears to be stored locally in the browser rather than in a cloud account we could identify.

What kids can learn

These are learning areas the project is designed to support—not guaranteed outcomes.

  • Arithmetic fluency through repeated practice
  • Mental calculation and number familiarity
  • Building confidence with basic operations

Why it's interesting

Short, repeatable drills can help some children build comfort with core math facts. Dopa Drill packages that kind of practice in a format familiar to many Japanese elementary classrooms—worth knowing about if your family is studying Japanese or wants localized math practice.

What parents should know

The entire application interface is in Japanese. English-speaking parents may want to sit alongside their child or choose a related adaptation in another language (see Sources & resources). Do not assume progress syncs between devices; it likely stays on the browser where your child practiced.
